Leadership transition at the New Brunswick Non Profit Housing Association


(FREDERICTON, NB), May 13, 2016 – Today, the NBNPHA Board of Directors announced the resignation of Tim Ross as Executive Director. Ross is stepping down in order to accept a new position with the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada later this month.

“It has been a pleasure serving the members of the New Brunswick Non Profit Housing Association, and I have nothing but fond memories and gratitude for this experience” said Ross. “Our movement is vibrant, our momentum is strong and we are poised for continued success in support of our mission of providing affordable housing in New Brunswick.”

Board President Kit Hickey wished Ross well and thanked him for his seven years of service to the Association. “We are grateful for Tim’s leadership and effective advocacy work in raising the profile of our movement. We wish him the best in this next stage of his career.”

Gary Glauser will be appointed Interim Executive Director, effective May 16, 2016 “We are thrilled to appoint Gary Glauser as our Interim Executive Director,” said Kit Hickey. “Gary’s passion, experience and abilities served our members in the past, and we are grateful that his steady hand will guide us through this transition.”

A transition team has been appointed by the Board of Directors to manage the transition and search for a new leader. The team is composed of:

  • Gary Glauser, Interim Executive Director

  • Kit Hickey, President

  • Marc Robichaud, Vice-President

  • Gary Gould, Secretary Treasurer

  • Tim Ross, Strategic Advisor (May 16-June 24, 2016).
