We’re here to help your organization achieve its mission

The Community Housing Transformation Centre (The Centre) works with housing organizations across Canada to drive transformation, sustainability and growth in community housing. By working together, we can stabilize and grow the community housing sector to meet the needs of Canadians now and in the future.

The Problem: Canada’s community housing sector already supports hundreds of thousands of households, but there are still more than 1.7 million households living in core housing need. As co-ops and non-profits transition into new operating models, we need to secure the viability of the community housing sector and discover new ways to grow together.

The Solution: We need to stabilize and grow the community housing sector to meet housing needs and to help reach the National Housing Strategy targets. There are organizations across the sector modelling transformation. We’re working to turn these leading behaviours into pathways to success for others.
